Breaking: Early reports that the Leafs have made a trade!

We're going to keep this short as we don't have all the details just yet.

According to a breaking news report from TSN insider Bob McKenzie, the Toronto Maple Leafs are working on the final steps of a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning that would allow them to acquire veteran forward Brian Boyle.

The 32-year-old has appeared in 54 games for the Lightning this season recording 13 goals and 9 assists for 22 points and a plus minus rating of +5. No word yet on what the Leafs will be sending back to the Lightning in exchnage for Boyle.
