On Friday, the Edmonton Oilers locked down their 6ft3, 214 pounds huge center piece.

Early reports from the Edmonton Oilers official twitter account confirms the signing of Jujhar Khaira to a two-year contract extension.

Khaira is a former 3rd round pick (#65 overall) of the 2012 NHL entry draft. Shortly after the draft, Khaira committed to play collegiate hockey with Michigan Tech of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

On the 2016-2017 season, he played 10 games and scored only 1 goal.
