Breaking: Entire roster implicated in mass-doping scandal!

First and foremost here we're going to have to ask you to bear with us as this news is coming out of Russia, and I'll be perfectly honest I don't speak or read Russian.

Here's what we know so far, the entire, yes the entire Under 18 roster for Team Russia at the upcoming World Championship has been scrapped just one day before leaving for Worlds. According to a report from Russian sports writer Slava Malamud the entire roster has been dismissed as a result of a massive doping scandal and Russia has been forced to field an entirely new team of replacement players.

According to Malamud the substance involved in the roster change is Meldonium, and it would make sense, the entire Russian volleyball team and Men's curling team had previously been busted as a result of Meldonium, and while it's not confirmed insiders are saying Meldonium is the culprit again.

The now former Russian Under 18 coach had very little to say about the scandal.

"A very unpleasant situation has occurred. No further comments"

Needless to say this is arguably the biggest scandal of it's kind to ever impact the hockey world, and it will certainly raise questions about drug testing, especially at the international level, after it has been shown to occur on such a large scale.
