The Pittsburgh Penguins will be playing without star forward Evgeni Malkin again on Monday night, as reported on Twitter by hockey insiders Sam Kasan and Michelle Crechiolo. Malkin missed his team last three games with an upper-body injury. The Penguins are playing against the Philadelphia Flyers tonight.

Malkin, drafted second overall by the Penguins in 2004, has registered 853 points in 728 games played in the NHL. He added 157 points in 149 playoff games. Prior to his injury, the Russian forward scored seven goals and added 14 assists for 21 total points in 22 games played.

He helped Pittsburgh to win three Stanley Cups (2009, 2016 and 2017).
