Fans of the Vancouver Canucks are outraged, and perhaps rightfully so, after head coach Travis Green once again made the decision to bench his rookie star.
After a very impressive preseason where 20-year-old rookie forward Brock Boeser led the Canucks in scoring he seemed like a shoe-in to make the full-time National Hockey League roster, and he did just that, but now his coach isn't playing him.
Now according to a report from TSN radio in Vancouver, Green has confirmed that he will run the same line up tonight against the Edmonton Oilers, indicating that once again Boeser will be sitting on the sidelines.
The former 2015 first round draft pick will have to wait to make his season debut, but it seems quite clear that fans will be letting Travis Green hear about it as long as Boeser is on the sidelines.
