Flames have officially activated Travis Hamonic from injured reserve, RW Anthony Peluso is en route to AHL Stockton.

The 28 year old Hamonic has been out of the Flames’ lineup since the opening night of the NHL season when he sustained an injury in a fight with Vancouver Canucks defenseman Erik Gudbranson. The Winnipeg native is hoping for a bounce back season with the Flames after putting up just 11 points in his first full season with the team last year. The gritty, tough defender was of course part of a blockbuster deal with the New York Islanders in exchange for three draft picks.

As for Peluso, the veteran winger has played just two games for the Flames this season, going pointless along the way.
