A National Hockey League forward is hoping to get another shot in the NHL with a rival team.

An official announcement from the Calgary Flames on social media has revealed that the team has signed 24-year-old Joseph Cramarossa to a professional tryout offer for their upcoming training camp.

Cramarossa, a former Vancouver Canuck appeared in just 10 games last season with the Canucks, recording no goals and no assists over that stretch. However he did have a rather respectable plus minus rating of -1 despite putting up no points.

Prior to being claimed off waivers by the Canucks Cramarossa played for the Anaheim Ducks where he recorded 4 goals and 6 assists for 10 points and a plus minus rating of +1 over 49 games.
