Breaking: Flu bug spreading in Canadiens' locker room

The Montreal Canadiens announced some potentially bad news this morning.

This, the day after Alex Galchenyuk missed practice with flu-like symptoms. 

Montreal plays the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight - a team they've won 14 straight regular season games against - and if they find themselves without both Plekanec and Galchenyuk, the goal starved team may find themselves in an even more precarious situation than ever.

Galchenyuk is practicing this morning - but it remains to be seen if he'll be in game shape for tonight.

As it stands, the Canadiens have 13 forwards - meaning they'll either have to dress 7 defensemen tonight, or make an emergency recall from the Laval Rocket.

Nikita Scherbak would be a good choice, should they need him.
