The Philadelphia Flyers have traded Petr Straka to the New Jersey Devils for a conditional 7th round draft pick which will be in either 2017 or 2018.
Straka has only played 3 career NHL games, all with the Flyers during the 2014-15 season picking up two assists. Last season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Flyers AHL team, he scored 19 goals and added 18 assists. He is a right winger and was originally drafter by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2010.
This is most likely a depth move for the Devils as Straka has yet to make his mark professionally.
