Former Blackhawks Defenseman Inked a New Contract in the KHL

As reported by Aivis Kalnins, KHL insiders. European reporter for http://www.hockeybuzz.com/ and KHL/European scout, a former Blackhawks defenseman inked a new contract in the KHL.

David Rundblad played 3 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks from 2013 to 2016. Rundblad is a former first round pick (17 overall) by the St. Louis Blues of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

According to Kalnins, SKA St. Petersburg and David Rundblad have come to terms to a one-year deal.
