Bob McGill started his National Hockey League career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1982. Former 2nd round draft pick (26 overall) of the 1980 NHL entry draft, McGill played over 700 NHL games. Mainly know for his toughness, he fought more than 190 times.

However, his biggest fight is happening right now as he suffered a Stroke yesterday and is now waiting the result of a blood clot.

McGill played for the Chicago BlackhawksSan Jose SharksDetroit Red WingsNew York Islanders, and Hartford Whalers. He scored 17 goals and registered 55 assists during the length of his career.

The 6.01, 205 pounds  also serves as an analyst for the Marlies on their radio broadcasts on the AM 640 Toronto.
