With each year that passes on, we lose quality human being who have made their mark in the big hockey history book. It never gets easy  but nothing can be done to stop the passing of time.

Today, we learned that Bill White passed away late yesterday at age 77.

White played 604 games in the NHL, earning 265 points along the way. The big 6'2'', 190 lbs defenseman also took part in the famous Summit series in 1972 facing the former USSR. He also coached the Blackhawks for one season in 1976-1977.

Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
