Former NHLer Dustin Boyd has resigned a two-year deal in the KHL with the Dynamo Moskva, the team that let all their players go two weeks ago because of financial problems. We have yet to know what are the financial details of the contract.

Montreal Canadiens beat reporter Andrew Zadarnowski reported the news on his Twitter account, earlier today:

Boyd played his junior hockey with the Moose Jaw Warriors, in the WHL, and was selected in the fourth round of the 2004 draft by the Calgary Flames. He played 220 games in the NHL with the Flames, Nashville Predators and the Canadiens, in which he recorded 32 goals and 31 assists for 63 points.

He left for the KHL in 2011, and played six seasons with Astana Barys. His best season was in 2014-15, when he racked up 53 points.
