You would think being denied the opportunity to have your name on the Stanley Cup would be a very good reason to be bitter, but that doesn't appear to be the case here, at least not publicly.

Former Pittsburgh Penguins Beau Bennett released a statement regarding the decision from the Penguins today, and while it was both short and sweet, it went directly to the core of the issue, and furthermore displayed a tremendous level of class from Bennett.

In all honesty though, there's no pride that comes with putting your name on someone else's success.

Bennett is of course referring to the numerous injuries he suffered that kept him out of the line up, and even went so far as to suggest his name on the Cup would be tantamount to plagiarism, a strong statement that truly speaks to how he feels about this decision.

Again it's a tremendous show of class from a guy who's in a position where no one would blame him for being angry.
