Chicago Blackhawks forward Dennis Rasmussen will make his NHL playoff debut tonight when his team takes on the Nashville Predators in game 2 of their opening round playoff series.

The 26 year-old Swede has suited up for 68 for the Hawks this season, potting four goals and adding four assists for eight points on the campaign. While he was with the Hawks for the majority of the 2015-16 season, he was assigned to the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs just prior to the big club’s first round series versus the St Louis Blues.

Blackhawks fans can expect Rasmussen to play a physical game tonight on the team’s fourth line with Tanner Kero and Jordin Tootoo. The 6’3”, 205 lb pivot has the size to make things tough on the Preds defence corps and his team could use some size and energy in their effort to tie up the series tonight in Chicago.
