Former Pittsburgh Penguins, Philadelphia Flyers, Colorado Avalanche and Boston Bruins forward Max Talbot has officially called it a career, retiring from professional hockey after three seasons in the KHL.
The 35 year old Talbot put up a respectable 91 goals and 204 points in 704 career NHL games. But… there are two goals he’s perhaps best known for and those two goals came in Game 7 of the 2009 Stanley Cup Final. Talbot’s incredible Game 7 heroics that evening secured the Penguins the third Stanley Cup championship in franchise history.
Congrats on an incredible career, Max!
