Breaking: Golden Knights call up veteran defenseman!

The Vegas Golden Knights have called up defenseman Jason Garrison from the Chicago Wolves (AHL), the team announced on Monday night. Garrison played four games with Vegas this season, registering one point. 

The 33-year old defenseman played 534 games in the NHL with the Florida Panthers, the Vancouver Canucks, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Golden Knights, scoring 48 goals and 111 assists for a total of 159 points and 217 penalty minutes. He also added 17 points in 48 playoff games. At the AHL level this season, the White Rock, BC native scored four goals and added 14 assists for a total of 18 points in 31 games played. 

Garrison will rejoin the team tomorrow in Tampa Bay. The Golden Knights are currently first in the Pacific division with a record of 29-10-3. They are playing against the Nashville Predators tonight.
