Breaking: Golden Knights make huge roster move!

The Vegas Golden Knights have officially recalled their supposed prized signing from last year.

There was a lot of speculation over recent days that Vadim Shipachyov wanted to find a way to terminate his contract and defect to Russia. Ultimately, those rumors were likely unfounded - and now he may finally have his chance to make his NHL debut at age 30.

It's unclear as of now if he will draw into the lineup, and if so, who he will replace. 

Vegas suffered its first defeat Friday night to the Detroit Red Wings.

Shipachyov, signed to a 2-year $4.5 million contract, put up 76 points in 50 games last season in the KHL.
