Breaking: Golden Knights sign 25-year-old center.

The New York Rangers left talented 25-year-old center Oscar Lindberg exposed in the expansion draft and now the Las Vegas Golden Knights have taken full advantage of that fact. 

Not only did the Golden Knights select Lindberg in the expansion draft, but on Tuesday they came to terms on a brand new deal with Lindberg according to a report from Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press. 

Whyno reports that the Lindberg has signed a two-year contract that will carry an average annual value of $1.7 million, a total of $3.4 million over the duration of the contract.

Lindberg has spent his last three professional seasons as a member of the Rangers, however his greatest success has come representing his home country of Sweden, winning two Gold Medals in international events.
