Breaking: Gudbranson traded to Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reportedly acquired defenseman Erik Gudbranson from the Vancouver Canucks.

Details to come, but it's believed that Tanner Pearson is headed to Vancouver as part of the deal. Again, more to come.

UPDATE: Indeed it appears that Pearson will be headed to Vancouver in exchange for Gudbranson.

The 26 year old Pearson is signed at $3.75 million through the next two seasons, while Gudbranson is signed to the same term deal at $4 million per.
