Breaking: Habs forward will be “out indefinitely.”

Big loss for the Canadiens.

The Montreal Canadiens have just been hit with some more bad news in a season that has been seemingly filled with primarily bad news.

On Tuesday it was revealed that 22-year-old forward Artturi Lehkonen would miss the Habs Tuesday night game due to a "lower-body injury," however the latest update paints a much more serious picture.

Sportsnet insider Eric Engles is now reporting that Lehkonen has been ruled out indefinitely by the team, a status that it usually reserved for players who are dealing with significant injuries, and players who are expected to miss a considerable length of time.

It's still unclear if Lehkonen was injured during Saturday night's game, or if perhaps he suffered some time after that either during training or practice, but with what little we do know we feel confident in stating that he is going to be out for a while.

Bad news for a Habs team that has had it's share of struggles this season already.
