BREAKING: Hawks Tied For First Place
Keystone Press

The Chicago Blackhawks have played ten games so far during the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.  They had a slow start with winning games but were still able to put up some decent numbers considering their issues early on in the season.

Blackhawks suffered early when they had serious issues dealing with the PK letting in over 14 power play goals this season for the opposing team.

Chicago has really turned things around this season by working hard on the PK and focusing more on controlling the puck and getting it out of their zone.  They have won their last three games in a row and have scored eight goals while only letting in one in the past two games.

The Blackhawks are currently tied for first place in the Central Division of the Western Conference with the Minnesota Wild.  They have a total of 13 points and one of their star players Artem Anisimov is in first place for both points and goals so far this season.
