A National Hockey League head coach who is currently on the hot seat is suddenly talking a very big game.

Perhaps because he knows he has nothing to lose, New York Islanders head coach Jack Capuano publicly called out some of his players, and went so far as to express the fact that he was running out of patience when it comes to certain individuals.

"I'm losing my patience with some guys..we have to hold guys accountable," said Capuano as per hockey writer Jim Cerny.

Capuano has emerged as one of the favorites to be next NHL head coach to be fired, and both he and general manager Garth Snow have come under fire as rumors swirl about sweeping changes to the front office coming from the Islanders new ownership.

This comes off as the last desperate cry of a man who knows he's headed for the guillotine.
