Several teams are still looking for help in between the pipes, as the Vegas Golden Knights and the Pittsburgh Penguins are in need due to injuries and poor backup support, while trade talks have surfaced about Tuukka Rask with the Boston Bruins and Cam Talbot with the Edmonton Oilers

On Thursday, the Calgary Flames placed netminder Eddie Lack on waivers.

In his last game, Lack stopped just 10 of 15 shots before heading to the bench in the second period of Wednesday's 8-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. But he could land elsewhere and provide better backup support if given another chance.

In 139 games in the NHL, with the Vancouver Canucks, Carolina Hurricanes and Flames, Lack has registered a 2.61 goal-against-average and a .909 save percentage.

In the meantime, two other players were placed on waivers Thursday. The Ottawa Senators placed forward Chris DiDomenico on waivers and defenseman Jaycob Megna of the Anaheim Ducks hit the waiver wire too.
