Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price had a terrible night against the New York Islanders on Monday, allowing five goals on 24 shots. The Canadiens eventually lost that game in overtime by a score of 5-4. The Canadiens finished the game with 56 shots on goal.

Before tonight's game, Price had a record of 13-14-3 with a 2.88 goal-against average and a .911 save percentage, well below the numbers he's used to have since the start of his career. Drafted fifth overall by the Canadiens in 2005, the 30-year old netminder has a record of 283-189-58 in 539 starts in the NHL so far, with a 2.43 goal-against average and a .920 save percentage. Price won four individual trophies, including the Vezina Award (best goaltender) for the season 2014-2015.

The Canadiens are currently sixth in the Metropolitan division with a record of 18-20-6. They will play their next game on Wednesday against the Boston Bruins.
