Breaking: Horvat out for extended period of time...

The Vancouver Canucks could be without forward Bo Horvat for up to six weeks due to a lower-body injury.

According to The Province, Horvat underwent an MRI on his right leg on Wednesday after appearing to injure it in the third period against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night. 

Head coach Travis Green had say it was minor, but fans now know out long the forward will be out... 

The 22-year-old has recorded 10 goals and 20 points in 28 games so far this season. 

The team therefore announced on Thursday it had recalled forward Michael Chaput and goaltender Thatcher Demko from their AHL team, the Utica Comets.
