Breaking: Huge injury update on star defenseman Kris Letang.

After some promising signs early last week it appeared that Pittsburgh Penguins' defenseman Kris Letang had taken a step back when he missed practice later in the week, but he has bounced back very quickly.

According to a report from Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Penguins star blue liner will be returning to action when the Penguins take on the Anaheim Ducks this evening.

Despite his absence the team has fared well, winning five of their last four games, but that will in no way diminish the importance of his return, especially considering the fact that the Penguins are entering a very tough three game Western Conference road trip.
