Breaking: HUGE update on Sidney Crosby's concussion.
Keystone Press

The Pittsburgh Penguins have been decimated by injuries thus far, but there may finally be light at the end of the tunnel.

According to a report from one of the top insiders in the business, TSN's Bob McKenzie, Pittsburgh Penguin captain Sidney Crosby is set to return to full practice for the first time, with his team, since being diagnosed with a concussion.

While Crosby has skated in practice with his team, it was with a no-contact jersey as a result of his injury, and that jersey may be finally coming off today according McKenzie's report.

McKenzie also hinted at a possible return to action this week but said it was "too soon" to make a definitive statement in that regard. The Penguins play the Flyers towards the end of the week, and that rivalry just wouldn't feel the same with Crosby in the line up.

Nonetheless it's great news for the Penguins.
