Breaking : Important updates on vital Ducks players.
Keystone press agency

With the Predators winning game 5 in Anaheim, the next game will be a matter of life or death for the Ducks. They will be facing elimination on hostile territory in a violent and physical series that cost both them lots of good players.

The Ducks just released fresh news about key players.

Rakell missed tonight's game following a stellar performance on Thursday. He was deemed day-to-day before tonight's game and missed the warmup. He could play in next game even if he's not 100%, as the stakes are really high.

Patrick Eaves is recovering nicely from the injury he suffered earlier this month. He skated this morning and feels better each day. He's probably not going to be ready to go on Monday but you never know with the current situation.

Gibson left the game tonight between the first and the second period. He was replaced by Jonathan Bernier who did a good job all considered. Gibson suffered a lower-body injury but little details were revealed. He should be playing next game if nothing goes wrong.
