The Chicago Blackhawks roster has sustained five injuries since the start of the 2016-2017 NHL regular season. This includes the most recent injury taken by Gustav Forsling during Monday night's clash with the Calgary Flames.
Forsling was unable to return to the ice for the third period due to an upper body injury. Coach Q stated this week that the young defenseman is "day to day" and was questionable about playing this Friday against the New Jersey Devils.
Today the coach announced that Forsling’s presence this Friday is unsure but he is hopeful that he can return to the ice this weekend.
