Breaking: It appears we have a shocking return for Game 7!

After questioning whether or not he would return to play at all during the playoffs it now appears that Tampa Bay Lightning star forward Steven Stamkos will hit the ice for Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final.

It's not official yet, but after head coach John Cooper was evasive in his answers about whether or not Stamkos would play tonight, Stamkos made his way out onto the ice in full equipment for the team's pre-game warm ups.

It's a shocking turn of events, and one that has to be a cause for concern for fans in Pittsburgh, although Stamkos has not played in several weeks and it's unclear what kind of game shape he will be in after such a long layoff.

Update: Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports is reporting Stamkos is officialy in.
