Breaking: Jagr may be paired up with Calgary's top two stars.

When National Hockey League legend Jaromir Jagr first arrived in Calgary he warned fans that his play would be bad, but it appears that Flames head coach Glen Gulutzan feels he is ready to take on a big role with the team.

According to a report from Sportsnet's Pat Steinberg, on Monday the Calgary Flames had Jagr skating alongside both Sean Monahan and Johhny Gaudreau, arguably the team's two biggest stars.

This would appear to indicate that the veteran forward will be paired with the Flames two young-guns on the team's top line when the Flames next play against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Both Monahan and Gaudrau have been on fire, with Monahan picking up 5 points in the Flames first 6 games, and Gaudreau recording 8 points over that same stretch. Jagr on the other hand has just one assist in his first three games with the Flames, so perhaps this is an attempt to spark the veteran by placing him with two young stars.

It could also be an attempt from Gulutzan to get two of his best players as much experience from Jagr as they can while they have him.
