Dustin Byfuglien is injured again...

The Winnipeg Jets defenseman has suffered a lower-body injury and is not expected join the club for its upcoming road trip, head coach Paul Maurice informed media members  after Tuesday's practice, as per team insider Jamie Thomas.

Maurice said Byfuglien got hurt in Saturday's loss to the Ottawa Senators and that he is expected to miss at least the next three games. He will be re-evaluated at that time.

The Jets' road trip is taking the team out West where they will face the Colorado Avalanche, the Vegas Golden Knights, and the Arizona Coyotes before the team returns to Winnipeg to face the Minnesota Wild next Tuesday.

Byfuglien has played just 37 games this season, after missing 15 contests with a leg injury previously in the regular calendar. The biggest blue liner of the NHL has posted 30 points and averages a team-leading 24:26 of ice time per game.

Let's hope he comes back sooner rather than later...
