Breaking: John Scott says he has not been paid by the NHL.

The Canadian Press recently caught up with NHL All-Star MVP John Scott, and he revealed a surprising nugget of information.

This season's National Hockey League All-Star game will go down as one of the most memorable in the history of the game, and it was almost entirely due to the presence and success of Scott, so it's particularly odd that the league has not yet paid him the money he earned for his performance in that game.

From the Canadian Press:

"I haven't gotten it yet," Scott said, referring to the money.

As for why he hasn't been paid yet? We don't know and it sounds like Scott doesn't know either, but after being asked about it, it sounds like he's going to make sure he finds out.

"That's actually a good question. I've got to follow up with them on that one," he added, with a carefree shrug before ducking back into the locker room.

Come on Gary, pay the man, he turned a humiliating moment for your league into one of the greatest events of the season.
