The St. Louis Blues have to be furious right now.

In a stunning report in the most recent segment of Insider Trading TSN insider Bob McKenzie has revealed that for the third time since the summer, defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk has blocked a trade by rejecting a massive contract extension.

The identity of two of the three teams who have been turned down by Shattenkirk is currently unknown, but the Edmonton Oilers are believed to have made the initial offer this summer prior to the start of the season. Now the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Boston Bruins, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New Yorks Rangers are all among the teams looking at a possible deal for Shattenkirk according to TSN insider Darren Dreger.
