The Vegas Golden Knights have announced that they’ve signed 19-year-old goaltender Dylan Ferguson to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Acquired from the Dallas Stars in the Marc Methot trade, Ferguson registered the Knights’ first ever preseason victory in the team’s 9-4 win over the Vancouver Canucks earlier this month.
Shortly thereafter, Ferguson was assigned to the WHL’s Kamloops Blazers for the 2017-18 season. Look for the youngster to state his case for a full-time spot in the AHL or NHL as early as next season.
