This just in, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Minnesota Wild have reportedly hooked up on a trade, according to NHL insider Bob McKenzie.

Headed to Minnesota is unsigned Leafs draft pick Fedor Gordeev in exchange for a 7th round pick in June’s 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

Check it out:

The 20 year old Gordeev is a left shooting defenseman from Toronto who recently finished his junior career with the OHL’s Guleph Storm. He put up 32 points in 63 games split between the Storm and the Flint Firebirds this past season.

He was organically drafted in the 5th round (141st overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
