Breaking: Leafs confirm not just one but two players are done for the season.

There's two ways to look at this, if you were hoping to enjoy watching the Toronto Maple Leads play for the remainder of thje season, this is very bad news, however if you're part of Tank Nation then you might actually be happy to hear this.

The Maple Leafs have confirmed the rumors that suggested injured forward James van Riemsdyk had suffered a set back in his recovery, and have in fact shut him down for the remainder of the National Hockey League season.

That's not all however, the Leafs have also announced that forward Joffrey Lupul will undergo surgery to repair a sports hernia, this means that his season has also come to an end, effectively decimating the Leafs forward core.

Again if you were hoping the Leafs would be as bad as possible, you can obviously see the silver lining here.
