Breaking: Leafs officially update Auston Matthews' status for tonight.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have officially provided an update on Matthews and the news is good. 

Leafs reporter Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun has gotten his hands on the official line up card for this evening, and is now reporting that not only will superstar forward Auston Matthews play tonight, but he will in fact be a starter. 

Matthews was listed as a game time decision earlier in the day, but it appears that he has progressed enough to let head coach Mike Babcock insert him right back into the line up. 

Obviously this is terrific news for the Maple Leafs.
