Breaking: Leafs reportedly on the verge of acquiring another goalie.

The Toronto Maples are rumored to be on the verge of acquiring another goaltender.

While we are not entirely sure of the details given that the source for this story is a foreign newspaper printed in a language we can't read, what we do know is that that according to Swedish reporter Johan Svenssson the Maple Leafs have found the experienced back up they were looking for.

Scensson has reported that former Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jhonas Enroth is on the verge of signing a new contract with Toronto, presumably to take a backup role to Frederik Andersen. Head coach Mike Babcock had hinted at that fact that he wanted a backup goaltender with a bit more experience, and if this rumor is true, Enroth would fit the bill.

He's also coming off a pretty solid season with the Kings, where he registered a record of 7-5-1 over 16 appearances for L.A. and posted a 2.17 goals against average and .922 save percentage over that stretch.
