The Boston Bruins can finally breathe!
Tuukka Rask left the game thursday night after being on the receiving end of Roman Josi's slapper. The puck clipped him right in the mask and Rask had to leave the game as every Bruins fans were holding their breath.
See, Rask won all but one of the Bruins games and he's boasting an incredible 1.95 goal against average. Despite David Pastrnak tremendous season so far and Claude Julien's effective system, losing Tuukka Rask for an extended period of time would have been the end of the world for the Bruins.
This morning, head coach Claude Julien confirmed the long-awaited news: Tuukka Rask is cleared to play and will be in net this afternoon against the Flyers!
