It's honestly starting to get a bit ridiculous just how decimated the Red Wings roster appears to be by injury heading into the start of this regular season.

With players like captain Herin Zetterberg, veteran defenseman Niklas Kronwall and Teemu Pulkinnen all already doubtful to start the season on the roster, the Red Wings have now added yet another name to that last.

According to a report from Red Wings insider Ansar Khan, the Red Wings now expect forward Tomas Jurco will be out until at least November, this despite the fact that coming off surgery in August he was only expected to miss four to six weeks.

Head coach Jeff Blashill confirmed the news on Thursday and it's unclear at this time how the Red Wings intend to handle so players, and core players no less, being absent from their roster perhaps for significant time.
