Vegas have already traded one key defenseman

According to TSN' insider Frank Seravalli, there is a done deal between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Carollina Hurricanes. According to Seravalli Trevor van Riemsdyk is heading from Vegas to Carolina. Details to come.

Trevor van Riemsdyk, the 25 year-old defenseman acquired by the Vegas Golden Knights from the Chicago Blackhawks in last night’s 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, was expected to be on the move today.

On March 24, 2014, van Riemsdyk agreed to terms with the Chicago Blackhawks on a two-year entry-level deal. He made his National Hockey League debut on October 9, 2014, against the Dallas Stars.
