BREAKING: MAJOR update on Jaromir Jagr’s future!

Last month there were some major rumors involving Jaromir Jagr and his future with the Florida Panthers, or perhaps more precisely his lack of future with the organization, when an international report surfaced suggesting Jagr was ready to move on from the team.

Report out of Czech media said earlier this season that Jagr is planning to move on from Panthers after this season & has told some teammates

However, In a brief tweet, the Florida Panthers insider George Richards said:

Alex Petrovic just leaned over to Jaromir Jagr and asked if he was coming back next year. ‘Yeah,’ Jagr said as he looked at me and smiled.”

It’s a major update as many were reporting he would have told his teammates he’s leaving the team at the end of the current season. It might also just be another rumor but things look as Jagr might be back with the Florida Panthers next year.

So far Jaromir Jagr played 1704 games in the NHL. He scored 763 goals and registered 1146 assists for a total of 1909 points.

With a pair of assists earlier this year, Jagr first tied and then surpassed a National Hockey League record previously held by none other than the late, great, Gordie Howe. Those two assists gave him 269 points after hitting the age of 40, now the most ever by an NHL player, and a record that may never be broken by the time Jagr hangs up his skates.
