Breaking: Maple Leafs announce two free-agent signings.

The Toronto Maple Leads have announced the signing of two new free agents on Tuesday.

First the Leafs announced the signing of Calle Rosén, a 23-year-old Swedish defenseman who has spent the last two years of his professional career putting up solid numbers for Vaxjo HC of the Swedish Hockey League. In his most recent season Rosén put up 6 goals and 13 assists for 19 points in 41 games and had a very respectable plus/minus rating of +19 on the season.

The Leafs have also signed 21-year old defenseman Andreas Borgman who like Rosén has been playing in the Swedish Hockey League, although in the case of Borgman his last season was with HV71 Jonkoping. Borgman had 5 goals and 10 assists for 15 points in 45 games last season, and he finished with a plus/minus rating of +23 on the season.

According to Leafs Public Relations both men have been signed to two-year entry level deals.
