The Las Vegas Golden Knights may have just gotten their very best news of the season.

According to a report from NHL.com correspondent Danny Webster veteran goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury will return to the line up on Tuesday night for the first time since suffering a serious injury early in the season.

"It's been a long time," said Fleury as per NHL.com. "I've been waiting for this, just to feel normal, able to be with the team, practice with them and have some fun again. ... It's fun to be back."

Fleury was very strong for the Golden Knights to start the season, recording a 2.48 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage over his limited play, but the concussion he suffered forced him to miss a whopping 25 games. Considering Fleury was expected to be the face of the franchise, it was a huge spanner in the works for the Golden Knight's plans moving forward.

The team however has exceeded all expectations in Fleury's absence and now they will be hoping they can maintain that level of play in front of their number one goaltender.

"He looks real good," coach Gerard Gallant said of Fleury, who practiced Monday for the first time since the injury. "When we got him (in the expansion draft), he was the face of our franchise. He's a big part of our club. We're going to give him all the time he needs to come back, get ready to play. Hopefully, it looks like he's going to play tomorrow, and we're looking forward to that."
