Breaking: Matt Duchene is MIA!

The Colorado Avalanche held its annual charity golf tournament Tuesday morning. Fans and experts noticed the absence of forward Matt Duchene, who is still waiting to see how the impasse surrounding him will come to an end. 

General manager Joe Sakic has been actively shopping the forward for almost a year now and many NHL teams have reportedly made offers, but the apparent high price tag has made it impossible for Duchene to find a new home. 

The Avalanche GM expects Duchene to show up at training camp since he’s a player under contract, but events like today makes fans wonder if he will indeed.
