Breaking: Matthews officially cleared to return to game action

According to Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Mike Babcock, injured superstar Auston Matthews is back! This, according to a report from Leafs insider Chris Johnston of Sportsnet.

It’s expected that forward Frederik Gauthier will come out of the lineup to make room for Matthews.

Matthews has missed the past 14 games with a shoulder injury thanks to a hard hit from Winnipeg Jets defence man Jacob Trouba. Suffice it to say, the 21 year old sniper is excited to FINALLY return to action:
