Breaking: McDavid causes “ pure chaos in the Oilers organization”!
Zuma Press

It has to be frustrating when you're as talented as Connor McDavid and yet nothing works out in your favour. We all remember the face he made when the Edmonton Oilers won the lottery on his draft year, but the star forward has worked hard and wants the team to be a contender.

But it is now a train wreck in Edmonton and McDavid finally voiced his frustration on Monday night as the Oilers were officially eliminated from the playoff race.

" [My frustration level is] really high. It’s really, really highWe want to play in the playoffs as a team. I personally want to play in the playoffs. I’m not happy about it. It’s going to be a long summer.”

“We don’t even have a GM, so I don’t think we’re in any position to comment on next season,” McDavid said. “We have a lot of crap to figure out. I hope we can put the right man in the spot and we can put together a good team.”

“It’s just not good enough,” McDavid continued. “All year. We let (losing) streaks drag on, we let times where we weren’t able to find wins drag on. You have to find a way to stop the bleeding, quick. There is a slim margin of error in this league. We did our best to stay in the fight, but it was a little too late.”

As soon as he uttered those words, fans feared the worst, thinking that the captain will want out this summer and ask for a trade, but it seems like he still wants to be part of the solution.

That's one thing...

However, it is believed that since he made these comments, it is pure chaos in the Oilers organization. Management needs to find the perfect solution to the team's woes or else the new general manager could become the GM who had to trade McDavid.

Media members are starting to feel the panic...

This could mean that the Oilers will need to change their approach to the GM search. McDavid could be brought in to make the final selection on the next GM.

One thing is clear: McDavid has caused chaos in Edmonton and someone needs to help him save this club!
