One of the National Hockey League's top insiders has just made a shocking revelation.

On Wednesday TSN insider Darren Dreger revealed that the terrorist attack that struck Manhattan on Tuesday could very easily have involved members of an NHL franchise who were just a short distance away from the carnage.

According to Dreger members of the Las Vegas Golden Knights "were in close proximity of the terrorist attack in lower Manhattan." It's an unbelievable reveal, not only because of the fact that they avoided injury, but because members of that organization were very much impact by another attack carried out by a madman in their own city just a few weeks earlier.

It doesn't sound like any players were involved as Dreger described those involved as "staff," however it sounds like those involved may have even been witness to the madness that took place. Dreger reports that they "to some degree, witnessed at least a part of the mayhem."

Thankfully everyone avoided the worst, but unfortunately that will be little solace to the families who lost their loved ones yesterday.
